Age 86, of Sun City, AZ and Lindstrom, MN. Passed away suddenly of heart failure at home in Chisago City, on May 15, 2012. Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Betty. Survived by sons Stephen (Beverly) and David (Janet); grandchildren Lindsey (Jason) Vaughan, Trent (Alyssa) Ogren and Cassie Ogren; great-grandchildren Addy Vaughan and Eli Ogren; brother and sister-in-law Rolland (Mary) Ogren, sister and brother-in-law Janice (John) Lindstrom; sister-in-law Jeanne Nelson; sister-in-law Elaine Ogren; Dick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Dick had two careers: the first as a salesman for Firestone and Goodrich tires, and then as a business teacher at Century College for over 20 years. He was an active and avid sportsman, playing well into retirement softball, tennis, golf, and most recently pickle ball.
