Obituaries

Paul’s big heart stopped on June 14, 2012 at his home on Kroon Lake in Lindstrom. He leaves behind wife of 31 years, carpentry partner and caregiver, Kim; sons Paul M. of CA, Scot of WI and daughter Paula of WI; their mother Shirley; grandchildren Daniel, Breanna, & Crystal; brother Verne (Audrey) and family of WI. Sadly missed by Harriet & Harlan, Ed & Cheryl, Anne & Terry, Madeline & Jeff, James & Kat, Cris & Todd; Shay & Matt, Levi & Amy, Courtney & David, Brittany & Ricardo; Annika, Addison, Payton, and Sunny “The Wonder Cat”.

Paul was born in Superior, Wisconsin on May 21, 1943. He attended school in Bruce, Wisconsin. He worked on a ship on the Great Lakes, as a deputy in Wisconsin. He worked as a carpenter for many years in Minnesota, California, Washington, and North Dakota.

Paul endured years of pain and challenges with humor and a special spirit. Happy trails to you Paul - You were loved. Kim thanks everyone for kindnesses shown. Special thanks to the angel neighbors and the wonderful co-workers at Macalester College who enabled her to keep her job and sanity.
