Name: Wenzel S. "Punky" Videen Dates: Birth date: March 25, 1934 Death date: August 15, 2012 Obituary: Wenzel S. "Punky" Videen of Lindstrom, died Wednesday, August 15th at Ecumen North Branch at the age of 78. Wenzel was born March 25, 1934 at Scandia to John E. and Anna Videen. He graduated from Chisago City High School in 1952. He enlisted in the US Marines in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1956. Wenzel married his wife Dawna at the Wyoming Methodist Church on September 24, 1955. He then attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in accounting. He was employed as a Supervisory Auditor for the Government Accounting Office. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, yard work and especially his family. Wenzel was preceded in death by wife, Dawna; and brothers Chuck and Harvey Videen. He is survived by daughter Sue Treichel; sons John (Shelley) Videen, and David Videen, grandchildren Anna Treichel, Sarah, Erik, Amanda, and Michael Videen; and sister JoAnn Maxon.
