Name: C. LeRoy Johnson Dates: Birth date: August 31, 1922 Death date: August 4, 2012 Obituary: C. LeRoy Johnson of Dresser died Saturday August 4th at Osceola Medical Center at the age of 89. Born Clarence LeRoy Johnson on August 31st, 1922 to Oscar and Florence Johnson at home near Dresser. He graduated from St. Croix Falls High School in 1938. On November 22, 1941 he married his wife Inez at Center City, MN. He was a farmer all of his life and was internationally known for his registered Holsteins. LeRoy enjoyed gardening, sports, especially the Vikings, traveled all over the world, and bird watching. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Inez, brother Leonard. He is survived by his daughters Sandra (Eddie) Fisk of Naples, FL., Carol (Richard) Bulman of Dresser, sons Mervin (Linda) Johnson of Scandia, Russell (Lila) Johnson of Dresser, grandchildren Jacquelyn (Peter) Brochman, Michelle (Carson) Corrigan, Justin (Becky) Bulman, Terry (Becky) Johnson, Kim (David) Meek, Kristie (Troy) Olson, Mark Johnson and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Service: Memorial service 1 PM Sunday Aug. 26th at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola Cemetery: Private Interment at Bethesda Cemetery |
