Christensen of Centuria, WI died Thursday, July 26th at the St. Croix Good Samaritan at the age of 93. Gladys was born January 13, 1919 in Hutchinson, MN to Hans and Amelia Jorgensen. On October 5, 1938 she married John Christensen. They move several times until settling in Centuria, where they lived for many years. She spent her life as a homemaker and raising their children. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son Lee and three brothers. She is survived by daughter Sharon (Max) Nelson of St. Croix Falls, WI, son Larry (Betty) of Andover, MN, 7 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren, sister Bernice Hansen of Milltown, WI. numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: Visitation 4 to 7 PM Sunday, July 29th at the Grandstrand Funeral Home, 941 St. Rd 35, Osceola, WI Also one hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Service: Funeral Service 11 Am Monday, July 30th at First Baptist Church, 661 West St. in Taylors Falls, MN. Cemetery: Interment New Home Cemetery in Eureka Township, WI. |
